anne-netflix

This is a great month for movies and TV shows on Netflix including some golden oldies like Forrest Gump. There is also some old favourites getting a revamp in the cinema this month. Check out all my favourites in the Cinema and on Netflix for the month of May.

CINEMA

Alien: Covenant – 12th may 2017

An old school movie is back with a brand new twist starring Katherine Waterston, Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace and James Franco

Sleepless – May 12th 2017

I was intrigued by this movie when I saw Jamie Foxx was starring in the lead role. This movie is about a police officer in search of his son who is kidnapped. Think Taken but about a boy

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword – 12th May 2017

This is the King Arthur tale that we all now given the 2017 movie treatment starring Charlie Hunnam, Annabelle Wallis, Katie McGrath and Jude Law

Snatched – May 19th 2017

I feel as though this movie has been advertised to death. If you have not seen the trailer yet, Amy Schumer, and Goldie Hawn travel on vacation, where they both get kid napped. this is a comedy but i am on the fence as to whether it will actually be any good. I think this will be one for a girly night out but don’t expect too much from it.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge – 26th May 2017

Johnny Depp is back with the latest instalment of the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow.

NETFLIX

Don’t Think Twice – 1st May 2017

This film is about an improv group in New York where trouble ensues when a member of the group gets a job in television. this has been getting great reviews and is a laugh a minute.

Anne (Season 1) – 12th May 2017

The beloved novel and 1985 TV/Movie Anne of Green Gables is getting the Netflix treatment. This new version of Annes story is said to be more realistic than the original. I loved the original story so this is your warning Netflix. Do not mess it up.

Sherlock (Series 4) – 15th May 2017

If you missed out on the TV show earlier this year it is now available on Netflix.
