Check out all the trailers and recommendations of what to watch in the cinema and on Netflix in November below.

3rd November – A Bad Mom’s Christmas

This is your typical slapstick Christmas Comedy starring Mila Kunis and Kristian Bell. I think it’s a bit early to be released as it is only November however it is worth a watch if you want something fun that will get you into the Christmas Spirit

3rd November – Killing of a sacred Deer

From the director of The Lobster, starring Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman this movie is about a heart surgeon and a dysfunctional family whom he gets involved with. This movie is said to be intriguing and gruesome in some parts. As one point we see a heart surgery being performed which actually happened in real life. If you loved the Lobster you will love this movie. It also features the up and coming Irish actor Barry Keoghan

4th of November – Murder on the Orient Express

I can’t wait for this movie. This remake of a timeless classic has a serious line of actors including Judi Dench, Daisy Ridley, Johnny Depp, Willem Dafoe, Josh Gad, Penélope Cruz and Michelle Pfeiffer to name a few. Based on the murder mystery novel by Agatha Christie this film is set on a luxurious train. As a murder is discovered an investigation begins about who done it.

10th November – Paddington 2

Paddington is back with a new movie. Paddington returns with the Browne family where he investigates a stolen present which he got for his Aunts 100th birthday.

17th November – Justice League

The long-awaited DC comics movie “The Justice League” is finally here. We see all our superheroes come together to save the world from evil. Starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Mamoa and Henry Cavill

24th November – Battle of the Sexes

This movie is based on a true story of a tennis match between world number one Billie Jean King and ex-champion Bobby Riggs. Starring Emma Stone and Steve Carell the trailer for this movie looks excellent. This is definitely one to go to the cinema for.

3rd November – Alias Grace

This period drama is about a housemaid in Canada who has been convicted of killing her employers. The trailer looks like it could be one of the shows where you become obsessed watching it.

17th November  – Jim and Andy: The Great Beyond

This film is a mixture of footage from the set of Man on the Moon and a recent interview with Jim Carey where he reflects on life and the making of that movie.

17th November – Mudbound

Set in Mississippi after the second world war two men begin a friendship based on the difficulties they endured during the war.
