June is a jam-packed month full of TV shows and new movies being released. Here is what I think you need to watch this month in the Cinema and on Netflix when you are not enjoying the summer weather.

CINEMA

Tale of Tales

This movie rolls three different stories into one movie. Starring Salma Hayek, Vincent Cassel, Toby Jones, and John C. Reilly looks to be something a little bit different in terms of storytelling. I was skeptical at first however it is doing well on Rotten Tomatoes

The Secret Lives of Pets

This movie is all about what pets  get up to when you are not around. Set in New York, this cartoon is set to be bundles of fun

Independence Day: Resurgence

The original of this movie is legendary and is definitely one of the best  apocalyptic style movies of all time. I am still unsure whether the sequel will live up to expectations however I will still go and see it anyway just for nostalgic purposes. Starring Liam Hemsworth, Joey King, Maika Monroe and Vivica A. Fox

NETFLIX

The Fundamentals of Caring

Starring Paul Rudd, Selina Gomez and Craig Roberts, this movie is based on a guy who enrolls in a caregiving class. It looks like it could be a tear-jerker and was well received at the Sundance film Festival earlier this year.

Orange is the New Black (Season 4)

One of the Best TV Shows on Netflix Orange is the New Black is coming back for a new season on the 17th of June. For previous seasons, it has been released in April so fans had to wait an extra two months this time. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait.

Spotlight

In case you missed this year’s Best Movie Oscar Winner, you can catch it on Netflix this month. Based on a true story of a newspaper company in Bonton as they uncover a huge scandal within the catholic church.
